Welcome to this website! This is an information site regarding the current activities of community members and visitors in the Wombat Forest Region.
Currently there are two camps located in Wombat Forest which are providing information, support, direct action and inspiring activities for those who are concerned about the destruction of our Forest habitats, both within our own region here in the Goldfields and across the state in Victoria.
All are welcome to attend our camps or to input into this campaign. The
ethos of this community is strongly non-violent and is endeavouring to work
cooperatively with loggers, forest workers, ALL activists, invested parties
and anyone who simply wish to become more informed.
At our camps you can come and enjoy the bush, take a forest tour of both the
few beautiful stands of forests left in the Wombat and logging coups, feel
uplifted by the experience of community life and strength
